There is no better time to visit Steamboat than now. It has been snowing almost daily with the last dump of 15 recorded inches, although it felt more like 2 feet. Snow is in the forecast every day this week too!
Steamboat also just celebrated its Olympic Send-Off where 15 hometown Steamboat Springs athletes will be going to the Olympics this year! Hundreds of people joined in the celebration at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area with comradity, a sense of pride, and excitement as these men and women are about to embark on the XXIII in PyeongChang, South Korea. Of the 15 men and women who call Steamboat Springs home for their Olympic quest, we have our eye on brothers Bryan and Taylor Fletcher (male nordic combined).
