3 Holiday Activities to do with Kids

There are lots of family-fun holiday activities to do with the kiddos while you are in Steamboat Springs over the holidays. Below are the top 3 must-do's this holiday season while visiting the 'Boat.

DECEMBER 23rd:  VISIT WITH SANTA
Santa is here! Bring your children to Bank of the West between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to visit with Santa. The Old St. Nick also loves letters and lists. Bring a camera and get that special photo with Santa. Bank of the West is located downtown Steamboat Springs on the corner of 6th street.

DECEMBER 29TH:  SKATE WITH THE GRINCH
Bring the whole family for Christmas themed open skating at Howelsen Ice Arena with the Grinch. The Grinch and his Whos will be there to serve hot chocolate and skate with your wee ones. For more information on this event fun for all ages, please contact Celina at 704-929-7849.

DECEMBER 31ST:  FAMILY FUN NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH
Ringing in the New Year with kids? Celebrate a kid-friendly time with the Family Fun New Year’s Eve bash at the Steamboat Grant. The festivities kick off with a family-style buffet dinner in the Grand Ballroom followed by magic, juggling and comedy with We’re Not Clowns. DJ entertainment, other children’s activities and face painting fill the time before the 2018 countdown, complete with noise makers and party hats. Get tickets at www.steamboat.com. Pricing includes tax and gratuity; children 5 and under are free.
