The town's many great restaurants have attracted talented chefs from diverse culinary backgrounds, and those chefs have been working hard mixing locally grown ingredients with exotic foods to create mouth-watering menus that will wow even the pickiest food critic. Here we focus on four steakhouses that will satisfy everybody from someone looking for a quick bite with the family or a romantic dinner with a loved one.

You can feel the unique atmosphere at the Ore House at the Pine Grove restaurant right from the door. The restaurant occupies a historic barn built around 110 years ago and was part of active ranching operations til the 1970s. The ambiance is just a small part of what makes this throwback steakhouse a favorite dinning spot for locals and visitors. The Ore House prides itself for serving famous steaks, fresh seafood and superb prime rib since 1971. Among some of the items on the menu that keep people coming back are the Prime Rib, the Oar House Steak and the Rocky Mountain Trout. When it comes to finding the best drink to go with your dinner the knowledgeable wait stuff will make sure you have the right choice to turn your dinner into an extraordinary event.
 
E3 Chophouse

Co-owned by the LaRoche family of baseball players, E3 Chophouse prides itself for serving some of the best beef in the country. The all-natural beef comes straight from the family-owned E3 Ranch, located in Fort Scott, Kansas. The ranch is owned by the LaRoche family, who prides itself on raising hormone, steroid and antibiotic-free E3 Black Angus cattle and is excited to bring its healthy beef to the locals and visitors of Steamboat Springs. The restaurant is especially popular during the warmer months as it offers arguably the best outdoors seating and summer happy hour in town. The famous adirondack chairs facing the river are the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious cocktail before dinner while watching the tubers float down the stream. The menu changes frequently enticing guests to come back and indulge in the new culinary creations but  some of the classics that you should try are the Filet Mignon and the Local Bone-In Pork Chop.
 
Three Peaks Grill 
Three Peaks Grill is a classic american steakhouse and a seafood restaurant serving prepared to perfection hand cut steaks and fresh seafood. The restaurant is the only place in Steamboat springs where you can enjoy an authentic raw bar menu. Offering the fresh East and West coast exotic oysters, Northeast clams and Alaskan crab, guaranteed to satisfy the most refined palette. The atmosphere at Tree Peaks Grill is refine yet cozy with comfortable couches warping around the crackling fireplace where you are welcome to enjoy a variety of appetizers and cocktails. 
 
Mambo Italiano
Steak lovers would be wise not to look base Mambo Italiano, located at 521 Lincoln Ave. Their Grilled Skirt Steak Marinated in chianti wine is one of the best in the business. It comes with garlic and herbs, and arugula salad, rosemary fries and spicy tomato jam. A delicious steak that's not to be missed!
 
8th Street Steakhouse
8th Street Steakhouse is not your ordinary restaurant.  It is  not only the superb quality of meat and seafood or the rustic wild west decor that make this restaurant a focal point of any visit to Steamboat Springs. The 500 degree lava hot grill in the middle of the restaurant where you make your own steak, the bonding effect you get from grilling. One reviewer said he's been there as a single guy, and it's a great place to mingle with people around the grill, and he's also been there with a date, and it's a great place to get to know your date a little better as you're grilling together. Obviously, for families, the setting is also ideal as it's exciting for the kids to get to cook the meal with mom and dad.
