A Sparkling Steamboat New Years

December 28, 2018

Steamboat hosts a New Years Eve that you won’t soon forget.  From champagne powder to a champagne toast, surround yourself with friends, family or loved ones in the 'Boat this New Years Eve.

Kick off the day on the slopes.  Over 120 inches of snow has fallen at Steamboat Resort this season making for perfect ski conditions.  If not into skiing, check out the base area activities where a roller coaster, rock wall and plenty of restaurants and bars will have you enjoying the ambiance of the winter scene on the mountain.

Ring in the New Year with a celebration at the base of Steamboat Ski Resort at 5:30 p.m. The Steamboat SnowSports School treats folks to spectacular on-snow parades down the mountain lit by torches.  After the torchlight parade is a firework display that will illuminate the sky providing a perfect ending to the evening if those kiddos need to get inside early.

Stick around Steamboat Resort for the Korbel® New Year's Eve Party. Take the gondola and celebrate New Year’s in the Champagne Powder Room, overlooking Steamboat Springs and the lights of town below.  Dance the night away to live music, while enjoying a balloon drop and Korbel® toast to ring in the New Year.  Festive libations are available throughout the evening including a complimentary dessert bar, chocolate fountain and dim sum appetizer station.

Guests dining on New Years' Eve at Hazie’s, Four Points, Ragnar’s, Haymaker and Western BBQ will have free admittance to the Korbel party.  For reservations and more information visit www.steamboat.com
