August is Amazing in Steamboat Springs

Over at steamboat.net, we are getting super excited about ski season! Still, we don't want to get ahead of ourselves. August is also full of exciting events that you're sure to enjoy! Here's a little bit of what you can expect this August in Steamboat Springs.

Westside Wednesdays on the Grass 

August 3 & 10, 2022

Westside Wednesdays on the Grass is a free music series presented by Snow Bowl Steamboat. National touring bands as well as local artists will be featured throughout the season. August will feature Lindsay Lou on August 3 and Jay Roemer on August 10. 

Music on the Green

Wednesdays through August 17, 2022

Music on the Green will take place Wednesday mornings, offering a relaxing way to ease into your day. This free outdoor concert series is offered by Strings in partnership with the Yampa River Botanic Park. Music lovers of all ages are invited!

Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series 

Fridays and Saturdays through August 27, 2022 

The Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series is a time-honored and award-winning Steamboat tradition. There will be bright lights, dirt, and plenty of thrilling rodeo traditions. It is so exciting to watch! Each rodeo starts with BBQ and music at 6 PM, followed by performances at 7:30 PM. Check it out weekends through the end of August! 

Coca Cola Movies on the Mountain

Saturdays 

Each Saturday in August, Coca Cola Movies on the Mountain will offer families a chance to come together for free movie showings. These events will take place outdoors on the Torian Plum Lawn at the base of the resort. Shows will start at sunset. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and get ready for a fun, family-friendly night! Movies being shown this month include Encanto, Trolls, Luca, and The Little Rascals.
