Steamboat has a variety of après ski locations ranging from on-mountain dining, to base area restaurants and bars. Check out a few of our favorite après ski destinations and reward yourself for a day of working up a thirst!
The Paramount – a local’s favorite. Located at the base of the mountain in Ski Time Square (next to Slopeside Grill). This quaint après scene coins the appreciation of simple with simply delicious. The owners take pride in satisfaction and feel “fresh is best” – they flavor their own liquor and make everything from scratch. Try a mouthwatering glass of sangria wine or spice it up with a signature bloody Mary. The cocktails pair perfectly with a basket of homemade french fries served with three homemade sauces. Head outside to enjoy slopeside views at one of the large picnic tables where you can enjoy good company and good cheer.
Feeling the mid-afternoon après or cocktail? Not ready to head directly off the slopes but ready to take a break? Ski over to Four Points Lodge for sweeping views over the valley at almost 11,000 feet. Enjoy a signature cocktail or craft beer on the lively deck or venture onto the snow as you relax on one of the many outdoor Adirondack chairs. Four Points lodge has a cozy indoor feel with a full bar and large fire pit to heat up your toes before you venture back on the slopes.
For a glass of champagne or a fancier cocktail and ambiance, head down to Truffle Pig Restaurant. Located at the base of the ski area, adjacent to Once Steamboat Place and the gondola. Featuring casual American Alpine Cuisine, Truffle Pig has an inviting atmosphere, live entertainment, great drink specials and mouth-watering menus. Enjoy a glass of champagne, cocktail or beer by the outdoor fire pit and watch the alpenglow set over the ski mountain. Après hours daily from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
