Come to Steamboat for the Wild West Air Fest!

August 28, 2018

There is something exciting about the site and sound of airplanes.  Kids 'ooohhing and ahhing' as they look closely at the old planes and exhibits.  Veterans standing by with their earned wings on their old, yet cleaned and ironed jackets.  The Wild West Air Fest feels like the perfect family event to wind down summer in celebrating Labor Day weekend.

At the 14th Annual Wild West Air Fest there are nationally renowned performers providing  thrilling aerobatics and formation flying.  Combined with airplane rides, children's activities, airplane displays, and incredible views, you will not want to miss the nonstop, action-packed event.  There is even an air show!

Plane rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis  with reservations and payments made directly with the pilots.  Rides are available Saturday during the event and the following Sunday after the event. The price is $10 for adults per day, $5 for youth ages 6 - 12, and free for 5 and under.   See below for the full schedule and be prepared to hold your breath during the aerobatics show!   It is jaw-dropping, stomach twisting excitement.
