Wildflower Wanders (Mondays June 17 - August 5, 2024): Want to immerse yourself in the season's gorgeous wildflowers? Sign up for a free Wildflower Wander, hosted by Yampatika. These short, easy hikes near downtown are a great way to experience the blooms. 

Fourth of July Celebration (July 2-6, 2024): The annual Independence Day celebration in Steamboat Springs celebrates America while also paying tribute to Yampa Valley's Western heritage. During this multi-day event, there will be a hometown parade, Ski Jumping Extravaganza, and the largest Pro Rodeo event of the summer. You can view the full schedule of events here. Yampa Valley Crane Festival (August 29 - September 1, 2024): The 13th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival celebrates Greater Sandhill Cranes as they migrate through Yampa Valley. Events taking place as a part of the festival include guided crane viewings, expert speakers, films, bird and nature walks, workshops, live raptors, children’s activities, and more. Downtown Historical Walking Tours (Thursdays June 13 - September 12, 2024): Every Thursday throughout the summer, the Tread of Pioneers Museum will offer free Downtown Historic Walking Tours. The easy tour highlights the historic buildings and development of downtown Steamboat Springs and unveils the stories of the town's founding and early settlers. You'll get to see and learn more about iconic structures including the original town square, power plant, newspaper building, courthouse, and more.

Steamboat OktoberWest (September 6-7, 2024): The 15th annual Steamboat OktoberWest will celebrate the many flavors and forms of craft beer! It is anticipated that there will be 30 brewers and between 1,000-1,500 beer enthusiasts in attendance. You can view a list of attending brewers here. Come enjoy an afternoon full of beer, live music, food, and festivities! 

Yoga on the Green (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays until August 31, 2024): Whether you're a pro or a novice, you'll love getting to try yoga in the beautiful Yampa River Botanic Park! You'll find unparalleled peace when you're surrounded by the delicate gardens and serene pond. The yoga practice adds to the serenity. Be sure to bring a mat or towel, water, sunscreen, and bug spray! 

Strings Music Festival (select dates until September 22, 2024): For over three decades, the impressive Strings Music Festival has been bringing top musicians to Steamboat Springs for sensational shows! Grammy winners, chart-topping artists, national touring acts, orchestras, and more regularly grace the stage. Musicians performing this summer include Emmylou Harris, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Melissa Etheridge, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Ben Folds, Shakey Graves, and many others. 

Snow Bowl's 4th Annual Free Summer Music Fest (select dates until September 25, 2024): All throughout the summer, Snow Bowl will be hosting their annual free music festival!
