Fun & free activities coming soon to Steamboat

Steamboat has a few fun and free activities upcoming that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

The first is the weekly free movie series taking place every Saturday night under the stars on the Steamboat Stage in Gondola Square. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Please leave pets at home. Movie starts at approximately 8:27 p.m.

On August 6 will be "Zootopia." - From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.

The next fun and free upcoming activity is the 6 Million Dollar Band concert on August 11 which doubles as the kick off to the Steamboat Wine Festival. Concert starts at 7pm on the Steamboat Stage in Gondola Square. Beverages and Snacks will be available for purchase. Please leave pets at home.
