-JANUARY 14th: Balloon Glow at 5:00 p.m. Six hot air balloons will light up the sky at the Steamboat Ski Area base in Gondola Square. Get up close to experience the color and beauty or take it in from one of the slopeside restaurants while enjoying dinner or appetizers. At 5:30pm, night skiing opens and you can hit the slopes before you head to the Bear River Bar and Grill for musical entertainment with Banks & Shane and dancing with the racing cowboys in Monday's Cowboy Downhill.
-JANUARY 15th: 44th Annual Budlight Cowboy Downhill at 1:00 p.m. at the Steamboat Ski Area. This signature Steamboat event with over 100 professional rodeo cowboys race on skis in a variety of competitions at the base of the ski area. Not to be missed, this is one of most unique events in the West!
