Arriving to Steamboat this coming weekend? Or, how about booking that last minute weekend get-a-way? Celebrate the holidays in true Steamboat fashion with a Holiday Festival taking place December 23rd, 2018.
The festivities kick off in Gondola Square around 2:00 p.m. with holiday cookie decorating and a fun stocking scramble. Little and big kids alike will enjoy these free activities while they sweeten their day with sparkles and frosting. They can also have their chance at running throughout Gondola Square in search of stocking scramble items at various restaurants and shops.
Adults and parents will enjoy a complimentary Korbel champagne toast and cupcakes. Everyone will delight in the site of Santa riding down the slopes on horseback. Meet Santa at his workshop on the slopes in front of Gondola Square. His reindeer friends may even be there to help spread the cheer.
The party continues as the Face Vocal band will play a FREE concert on the Gondola Square stage. It is an afternoon everyone can enjoy – free fun for all ages! The night concludes with a torchlight parade and fireworks followed by night skiing.

2:00 to 4:00 PM: Toast the season with complimentary Korbel and cupcakes in Gondola Square.
2:00 PM: Santa parade on horseback beginning at Slopeside and ending in Gondola Square
2:30 to 5:00 PM: Meet Santa at Santa’s Workshop
2:30 to 3:30 PM: Visit Santa’s reindeer friends
2:30 to 4:00 PM: Face Vocal Band performance
5:30 PM: Torchlight Parade and Fireworks (Immediately following night skiing is open)
