Steamboat Springs, are you ready to get spooked?? This week, everyone's favorite haunted house is finally returning! Check out Screamboat Haunted House this October!
An annual tradition for 22 years, Screamboat Haunted House was put on hold during the pandemic. For 2021, it is back with a score to settle! The beloved haunted house will be bigger and better than ever. This year, organizers had the help of Ric MacNeil, a haunted house industry pro with over 15 years of experience crafting semi-professional haunted houses and walk-throughs. His knowledge has helped step up the animatronics and set design.
In the haunted house, there are over 15 scary rooms for visitors to explore. If you've visited before, then you might remember the iconic spider room or bus room. This year, there will be new haunts, including a meat grinder room, swamp room, and operating room! Sounds creeeeepy!
Tickets will cost $20. As a bonus incentive to attend, some of the proceeds raised from ticket sales help raise money for student organizations at Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs. You get to have fun while making a difference!
Screamboat Haunted House will be open October 22-23 and 29-31, from 6 PM until 10 PM. Due to the nature of the event, it is recommended that adults accompany children 12 and under. You can find the haunted house at Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs auditorium, 1275 Crawford Ave.
