Steamboat Springs Saw Its Snowiest November Since 2010

Steamboat Springs always sees sensational snowfall. November 2022 has been off the charts! Last month was Steamboat Springs snowiest November since 2010. December is off to a snowy start as well! You don't want to miss out on the powder!

if you've felt "Jack Frost nipping at your nose," that's because he's been busy at work bringing snow to Colorado! Steamboat Springs saw nearly five feet of snow pile up in November, making this the snowiest November since the record-breaking 2010-11 season. Snowpack is currently 116% of the 30-year average

7 inches of snow fell between Monday, November 28th and Tuesday, November 29th, ending the month on a high note. More snow fell overnight from Thursday, December 1st into Friday, December 2nd, leaving powder for lucky skiers to enjoy on Friday morning. The total for the past week currently sits at 14 inches- and more snow is right around the corner! Steamboat Springs is expected to see 22 inches in the next 5 days!

Since the start of ski season on November 23, conditions have remained incredible. Currently, 7 lifts and 59 runs are open- and it is only December 2nd! With the upcoming storm, more terrain is expected to open very soon. Expect to enjoy new runs in the next week or so!
