Steamboat Summer Top 10 List
Summer in Steamboat combines the classic Colorado adventure activities with an array of arts and culture. On any given summer day, there are bountless opportunities to explore the mountains and trails, splash in the yampa river or hot springs and attend a cultural experience. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorite top 10 activities. Read below to see what makes my heart sing and stay tuned for the next blog on Top 10 plus for 10 more exciting things to fill your itinerary with Steamboat summer bliss.
1. Mountain bike Emerald or Spring Creek Trail (bonus the whole family can attend as long as they are at least a beginner mountain biker).
2. Hike to Fish Creek Falls. Be sure to bring a camera as this might be your next holiday card.
3. Attend the Pro-Rodeo on a Friday or Saturday night.
4. Ride the gondola to sunset happy hour and hike the nature trail 
5. Horseback ride through fields of green, open meadows and whispering aspens.
6. Rent a paddleboard or pontoon boat at Steamboat Lake or Stagecoach Reservoir State Park.

7. Cruiser bike the Yampa River Core trail and bring a picnic to the Botanic Park along the way.
8. Fish or float the Yampa River.
9. Visit the local breweries or combine with a brewery tour
10. Venture out to Strawberry Park Hot Springs where the ultimate relaxation awaits.
