August 25, 2017
Perhaps its the diverse climbing the state has to offer, which translates so well to the range of obsticles featured on the hit show.

Indeed Colorado, with its rich pool of poly sport athletes, has had its fair share of American Ninja Warrior competitors do well on the hit show. And Steamboat is no different.

Steamboat native Mitch Vedepo was called another star in the making as he cruised past the 20 foot mark of the elevator climb, a feature that causes so many to gas out.

The show, now in its ninth season, follows competitors as they tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country. Hundreds of competitors have tested their skills to see if they can make history and join Isaac Caldiero, who became the show's first winner in season seven.
