WinterWonderGrass is back in the Boat for another weekend of authentic bluegrass music and Colorado craft beer. It is claimed as one of the best music festivals of the season. With over 20 Colorado breweries and more than 25 bands, how can you pass up the opportunity to boogie down to some amazing music in the 'Boat.
Headliners this year include The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, Trampled by Turtles, the California Honeydrops and more. There is a large stage for the headliners while some of the other bands play in heated tents. Simultaneously happening to help you enjoy the full moon and crisp mountain evenings, or warm up inside at a heated tent.
Better yet, WinterWonderGrass is also a family-friendly event. The festival feels like a community and includes a colorful kid zone with face painting, arts, crafts, hula hooping and more. This allows parents to enjoy libations and live music without bored kids. Children 12 and under, as well as seniors over 75 are FREE.
While you enjoy WinterWonderGrass, remember Steamboat Springs also offers many off-mountain winter activities available for all ages during your visit. Check out the Hot Springs at either Old Town Hot Springs or Strawberry Park Hot Springs. Take a leisurely waterfall hike up to Fish Creek Falls, or enjoy a snowshoe at one of the many trails in Steamboat.
